Mila Webb

Mila Webb released her debut EP Lucky Nights on Perpetual Doom in 2022. Co-produced with Chris Cohen (of Chris Cohen, The Curtains, Deerhoof) at Tropico Beauty (Glendale, CA) and various home studios, Lucky Nights weaves ghostly melodies and ethereal lap steel to create a sly take on the traditional folk palette.

Webb describes herself as “a bit of a late bloomer,” with a wink. Bristling at the notion of a permanent record, it took tentative steps out of hermeticism for her to bring the demos that became Lucky Nights into the light. These four songs come together to portray a multidimensional process of grief for a time in life and a time on Earth. Webb says, “the songs have a sadness to them but I hope people see the light in them too.”
